The Big Lie about threats from conservatives

Politico claims:

That incident followed an even uglier series of events outside the chamber Saturday, when tea party protesters reportedly shouted the N-word at civil rights hero Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), spit on Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) and hurled an anti-gay insult at Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.). . . .

Politico also writes about "Democrats fear for their families."

But as Andrew Breitbart shows, those claims are false. When the Democratic leaders deliberately walked right through the middle of a peaceful crowd protesting the government health care bill, I suspect that they knew before hand that they were going to claim that they were sworn at. Fortunately, these days lots and lots of people are able to record what really happened. Please see Andrew's videos that he has put up. See other information here.

Where does Politico have this story? Cantor Says Campaign Office Was Shot At, Accuses Dems of Exploiting Threats Fox News had the above claims about violence supposedly threatened against Dems at the top of their webpage. As of 5:40 PM, Politico has no story on the threats against Cantor.

The story is there. The timestamp said 4:01. But the headline says nothing of violence.

Of course, there are enough crazies to go around on both sides of any issue. And of course, most normal people abhor violence and death threats, regardless of who makes them. So where was this person when Rep. Stupak was receiving death threats from people who at the time thought that he was going to block the health care bill? I would submit that most normal people are also offended by selective outrage. Such demonstrations say something about the character of those making them.
